On Sunday, a ride in Wenatchee with some good friends.
We enjoyed sweeping views after a great climb up Badger Mountain.
Descending back into town, we headed North riding next to the Columbia River.
We crossed over at Highway 2 then followed the Wenachee River to the town of Monitor, passing by fragrant Apple Orchards.
The sky threatened at times to open up but it never did, we rode all day in a bubble of sun.
Returning back along the same route after lunch, I was thinking I am going to have to come back again soon. There are a lot more roads to explore in this beautiful area.
northbend, nice ride and you're right: beautiful area. BTW, in that first picture I thought your friends were on a tandem. The angle threw me off a bit.
