Somebody did ask with interest in the "Ask Scrod" thread about my experience with getting my 725 warrantied. It was smooth; I got it switched out for a 721 and I am digging it thus far.
Did they reimburse you for the difference in price in some shape or form? Usually, companies would give you a model up if there's no existing replacements, not down.
