Although I think cycling in general is safer than perceived (and stats can help with this), knowing the raw frequency without knowing the exposure is not particularly comforting. How often do we see child trailers being towed on a 40+ limit road? I literally don't think I've ever seen
anyone else do it in my immediate area.
I do see lots of trailers on the 20mph neighborhood streets and trails.
