The f*uck? Don't you have a sh*t ton of kids (read: more than 2)? Two 6 hour rides within a year of each other for me would be a major accomplishment. Kudos.
Haha, yes, 3 kids, but they are in middle and high school and somewhat self sufficient, or at least old enough that they can be alone in the house for an hour or so without imminent risk of police, fire, ambulance, or social services.
Having said that, the 6 hour MTB ride was unintended. My brother-in-law's buddy was not really prepared for a big ride and cracked hard halfway through. I ended up leaving them in the woods once we got within a few miles of home and did get in a bit of trouble for being AWOL. Not really trouble, more like a minor karma deficit that will get balanced out the next time my wife wants to go out with some friends.
