I've made a couple of things that I wanted using my 3D printer. Next up is getting the printer working using nylon, then I think I might be able to make very strong parts for more important applications. Currently just using ABS, though I'm sure ABS would be fine for that shifter. Just don't use PLA, it's too brittle.
