Good luck, you're in a tough spot since you're kinda in between sizes. I guess it's easier for me to recommend the smaller bike because you can make it bigger but it's hard to make a big bike smaller. Like the other guy said, find the geometry numbers on your other bike (even though it's a hybrid) and compare them to the Jamis.
