I used to read Lovely Bicycle, but sort of lost track when the author moved to Ireland and changed the focus a bit. She used to post here as [MENTION=369891]velouria[/MENTION], I believe. It was fun for me to read her, because I was just discovering old bikes at the time and she was going through a lot of the same learning curve I was. I'm kind of a sucker for the somewhat mannered, flowery and formal prose there too. Is it a put on? Is it the way she really thinks and writes? Is she my overtly literate anglophile grandmother, reincarnated?
