Glendora Mountain Road was closed to vehicles today so I went out there. Its one of my favorite climbs but a 40 minute drive, and there was a bike forums ride but I decided I was just going to ride solo as I wanted to go 'fast' and get home before 1300. There had to be 2,000+ riders going up, it was nuts. I passed a ton of them and got yelled at a ton, apparently its unfathomable to think someone would go faster than a blistering 1.85 w/kg pace.
I dropped about 100 national champions, so I must be on my game or we really suck now cus they seemed slow for national champions.

OR were wearing fake stars and strips for the 4th. We saw several stars and stripes jerseys on our ride.
