Never worked that way in my experience. It's random at best. High end, what? Trek. Maybe Cannondale. Nothing esoteric, or Italian. (I did get a Gitane Performance 5 years ago with campy stuff, with those ****ty french hubs, Helicomatic for $50 and it was a really nice bike, I probably should have kept it, but $$$ changed my mine)

The bike is a big piece of ****, and he had a sale. The overwhelming greed of these places never seems to amaze me. You can get amazing stuff out of them but you have to look so much it really never adds up. And I cycle to this place in 10 minutes. It's that close. Only reason I go to is it's close. I have pulled a few thousand dollars worth of stuff (Most of it non bike related) out of this one this year. Anyway.....(Summer is awful, virtually nothing for the whole season)
Still why be an ass about it. I told him he would never sell it for that price.
