The front was installed, bled and ready to go. The rear had the hose run, caliper attached and was going through the bleeding process. It was all a complete waste of time.
Good thing I left the hoses a little long so that the Hope barbs could be cut off. The Shimano calipers went back on.
I'll see what Hope says about warranty. I know people like these things but I have a 50% failure rate and people on other forums say that got two in a row like that. I'll probably just sell them.
I hate it when a so called upgrade doesn't live up to the hype.
My experience was the exact opposite as the Sram brakes seemed weak and the new calipers made a big improvement.
However from my own experience, the Ultegra brakes with resin pads on my road bike stop better than my Sram Force with the RX4 calipers. The Shimano stuff works so well I would be hard pressed to change it.
