Looking at pictures of the TL-UN72, I really don't see much difference from my TL-UN74.
It appears the 72 has thicker walls.(eyeballing your pic vs the 72 in my hand)
My hole measures .79"
EDIT- maybe this pic from the business end may show different thickness?
