Agreed. The problem is when they talk about abolishing changing the clocks, they get it backward. They usually want to stay on DST. Eff that. I don’t want the sun up late in the fall. In the summer it will still be light until 730 or so. I hate trying to go to sleep when it’s still light out in the summer. Pain in the rear.

California got it backwards. The guy that put forward the proposal didn’t even get it right...now the kids will go to school in the dark. What a clown.

Have a friend in the aviation business. They say that DST is a nightmare because they have to re-time all of their hub flights when the clocks change. Markets that don’t change time lose connection opportunities and then you add in that certain countries change on different days. He says it’s pure hell for scheduling for about two weeks on either end of the change. Airlines want to stay on a standard time with no daylight saving. Politicians now seem to want it the other way around. What a mess.
