Tylenol is completely safe if you don’t exceed the dosage on the bottle. I would be more cautious with ibuprofen, it’s generally safe but can be hard on your kidneys and with fluid shifts/dehydration during rides that might be an issue. It can also irritate your stomach/GI tract, especially when taken on an empty stomach.

If you are really sore from injury/overuse you can actually combine and take both.

But pre-ride I advise Tylenol over ibuprofen, for sure.
