There was one day I was out on our patio, and I heard this loud noise - a bird had flown into one of our windows, and was laying on the ground twitching. I wasn't sure at the time if it was dying, had broken its neck or what. We contemplated what to do for a few minutes - but it eventually came to its senses and flew off and seemed no worse for the wear.
