I take the beet powder daily, with L-Citrilline. Both are a help, I believe, along with watermelon for desert at night, which is a source for citrilline. I'll bring a a BeetUm or two on a long ride, and along with Bloks, may be all I eat.
I like Pure Clean because Doctor Cohen is passionate about his stuff, and promises to use the "good" beets, and not some gmo off shore stuff. Plus, he answers the phone when you call there, more often than not.
I need all the help I can get in the breathing department, and something is helping. Garmin said I hit a new high Vo2 Max of 69 last week, if that's to be taken seriously. That's pretty good for an upper middle aged guy with emphysema.
