I know the theory, but it seems like mine are constantly out of alignment. There must be a way they can be made strong enough to not bend under normal use.
The one on my Ellsworth seems to mysteriously tweak itself out of alignment on occasion. I wonder sometimes if it's about to kick the bucket. Not totally sure if that's an indicator of such, however.
Since it's had an unknown life before I got it I suppose I should dig up a replacement or two sometime.
