These are tubular rims, not clinchers, so I'm not as concerned about any warping. I do recognize your point though. I definitely keep an eye on them, but I've been riding on these for years now with no issues. I know some of the early carbon clincher rims had issues with heat from heavy braking warping the walls, but don't think the tubular versions really had the same issues.

If I do end up coming upon a good aluminum option I may end up going that route in the future, but for now I'm pretty content with the carbon rims.
