Russ Roth Velo base was down last night so I just assumed that Gipiemme wouldn't have built a smaller post than 27.4, in fact I thought they'd be bigger.

Uhmm..... Yes, Gipiemme built smaller than 27.4 mm seatpost..... the aero seatppst on my 86 ALAN Record Carbonio is a 25mm dia. Gipiemme.
