Had great luck with Louis Garneau and Performance house brand stuff in the past, but availability of those brands is tough these days.
I'm in the same boat. My Performance half finger gloves won't make it through the summer I'm sure but they've been great gloves. Just won't wear out even riding almost every day and laundering once a week. What little padding they had is long since gone so they are perfect now. Wish I'd have purchased a half dozen pair since I think they were less than $15.
