I just had a look locally for a Brooks C-17 and the cheapest a quick google search finds them for in this country is $200. I don't think I could ever pay that kind of price for a seat unless it reclines and has somewhere to hold the TV remote and my drink!
It's $88 for the standard and 93 for the carved on Amazon here, I think I payed between $60-70 for mine. Same thing with Chester pedals, I got them for $30 and now they want $60 for them.
