Like any rental, if you stop paying, then the owner (in this case Host Papa) will lock you out and pile all your stuff on the lawn. Sounds like Host Papa owns the domain until 2027, when they'll have to buy it again. From my conversation with the customer service rep, it sounds like they keep (copies of?) the files for six months then delete them, and vintage-trek.com stopped paying rent in February.
