Hope it all works out, broken bones are no joke, half of mine have never been the same and lead to other problems.
It happened just before I found the bike for him. He's walking now with a cane and occasionally a knee scooter but it looks like a good recovery is on the way. He has gently ridden the bike too. On the upside he's loaded with titanium now.
