I know that well, I have one. I got it as a bare frame and thought it was a 26er at the time. I ended up building as a flat bar. Very comfortable, responsive, some flex very quick on correcting. I originally had it set with 32mm tires, I switched to 42mm. The bike can handle Fat Franks if you want.

I put a Brooks saddle on mine as well. I put thousands of miles, did a lot of gravel. I have set it up for road a number of years, but haven't it back on the pavement since it was flat bar. More than likely I'll switch it back to hybrid.

The price of $400 seams low when one compares to, let's say, the Surly Long Haul Trucker. Probably a better bike than the Surly.

This is where I left it in the rebuild. I never set the cockpit and the saddle is way high in the picture.
I'll clean mine up and post a similar garage door shot. Your bike is nice. Commendable from a frame up starting point, and IT IS very easy on the eyes.
