I've got an ongoing search on eBay for a tandem, and this came up. It looks a bit ropey, but it may be of interest to someone here. Sadly my partner wouldn't be able to get on it, and I already have a 1980 Mistral in the garage to do up, otherwise I'd have grabbed it, especially given the location.
That's a beautiful, high-performance tandem. Someone ought to tend to it, at-least strip and prime, before the rust gets any more established. I believe the '80 Mistral has the same font and font size as on the seat-tube of this tandem, so the tandem should be from about the same era.
