Max grade on a climb:
One annoyance with rwgps or strava hills is that the grades often have wide point-to-point swings in grade percentage. Hovering over a tiny section of a climb: 5%, 11%, 3%, 14%, 8%, 9%, 5%... A running local average over a small distance, perhaps 100 feet, would help. (This would average out steep switchback grades, but that's a reasonable tradeoff for me.) Right now, I see the average grade for a selected portion of a route, then have to do a rough guess of the steepest portions.
