Hello again K! Tern is a distinct company, started by the wife and son of the Dahon founder. Lawsuits galore, but they have settled things. For a while, they made similar products, but then a few years ago, Tern jumped ahead with their GSD electric cargo bikes, high quality, I think also tested to a stringent Euro spec for cargo bikes. Base model was like $6,000 USD, and went up to about $10,000 for one with a Rohloff 14 rear hub. I'm sure big profits there. A good number are present in my city, for apartment dwellers in areas with little parking, using in place of a car. Last year on the road, I helped fix a road bike, his wife was riding an electric similar to the GSD at a shockingly low price of between $1500-2000 if I recall.
