A local friend has a Vade Mecum with straight stays. He didn't know what model it was, so I did a little investigating. Doug Fattic identified it as a Vade Mecum Mk 1. The hetchins.org website has a page showing that the model is defined by the lugs. Apparently, the stay treatment is an option.
