Gravel bike ride with LOTS of steep climbing. 5000' of vert in the first 20 miles of the ride. The suffering was somewhat tempered by some really excellent singletrack descents between brutal climbs. Unpaved + steep = something I don't like
Suffering up steep grades is one thing. Suffering up steep grades while fighting to maintain rear wheel traction is a "no thank you".
