With standard 18t ratchet, there would ne a lag between coasting and pedal engagement when you started pedaling. Feels like a dead space before the pedals engage. Higher tooth count reduces that dead space. Options are standard 18t, 36t and 54t. 36 t halves the dead space, and 54t halves it again.
