I’m a noob in the mtb scene. Can any hydration pack been be called a camelback, like any tissue can be called a kleenex?
And, generally speaking, is there any problem with putting ice water in the bladder?
expect the corporate lawyers from camelbak and dakine and osprey (and whomever) to come calling if you insist on using ‘camelbak’ indiscriminately !
ice cubes should not be a problem - recall some guys stored their camelbak bladder in the freezer between rides (to avoid nasty bacteria / frequent cleaning)
I would avoid flavored drinks and drinks with sugar etc in the bladder … stick to water only
