I cut carbs down to less than 20 grams per day and steadily lost 10-12 lbs. per month for nearly 2 years. I felt bad the first 2 weeks with low energy but when ketosis kicked in, I had good energy. I wasn't cycling extreme distances, but I averaged 100 miles per week my second year by cycling nearly every day.
