Okay, here is new experience with the BITEX RAR8-Hub. My frame has a width of 120 mm at the back. Normally you can drive 5/6 gears with it.
I have mounted a 9 speed cassette with a Shimano Dura-Ace 7700 Derailleur.
It works great!
