+1. When it's really cold, though, like 40 and below, I use the PI Lobster Mitts... they're as warm as mittens but give you a little extra dexterity for shifting/braking. Good choice for an NH winter, I would think.

You have to be careful, though... Above about 45F your hands will get pretty warm and a little sweaty, so save these for the coldest days...
