Casati! South Aust. It does look Italian - it has bling. The position of the seat stays being attached to the cluster bolt lugs is a little different. I wonder if it is a feature on Casati frames of that era?

Colnago and DeRosa used to build with 531 although your frame does look to be built well past the time those two builders were using 531. Is it an Italian bottom bracket?

Re the stem: I didn't think ITM and Cinelli would fit together as they use different sizes. I reckon a Cinelli 1A or 1R stem would suit the frame and bars better. Perhaps you are considering that too.

I have heard of Protour but know nothing about them. The photos will be great to see.

I bet the Abeni will be nice to ride.
