I have an Ottrott but haven't owned or ridden the Parlee (though LBS carries both) so I can't give you much of a comparison. The shop owner positioned the Parlee as lighter and the Ottrott as more durable - and recommended the Ottrott for what that is worth.
My Ottrott is very smooth and fits great. I'll bet both bikes are very good.
