Juliana had only been riding 2.5 years and for some reason had not taken to the finer details of bike maintenance.
I know for a fact she has since started learning how to take care of her bicycle.

What a great movie! parts of it gave me the feels. I can't imagine sustaining a liquid diet for 3 weeks. I felt so bad for Juliana with her mechanical! Though I was confused bc I thought The Italians had caught up? I remember her tracking them and they were right on her heels. Glad she has started learning some basic maintenance. What a terrific movie.
