I often wish I could get a Soma Vittesse 700x33 on my Hollands.
It would make it a nearly perfect all roader.
As long as you stay on streets/roads and hard pack, 28s should be fine.
I run 700 x 27 Paves on my CSI and I'm amazed at the nonsense I can ride through on those tires without incident.
At any rate, you have a good attitude about 32s not fitting.
I would have been irked rather severely.
