No mfg is gonna sell you NOS. What little they retain is for warranty replacement. They’re in the business of selling you the latest and greatest while earning a little profit for the company. You want a warranty? Gotta buy new.

You can scrounge around Craigslist or wherever, looking for your needle in the haystack, or you can bring an equally performing frame to your favorite painter and show them what you want.

I’d be surprised if C’dale even has any NOS that old. It’s far easier and cheaper to satisfy warranty claims by simply providing a frame from the most recent generation. The fine print always includes “equal or greater value,” so why carry the costs of storing frames when you can just pull one out of the current production line?
