In ˝hr I will repeat the same 11 mile R/T to the hospital gym and swimming pool I do every day. On the way today I will stop at the recycling place to get rid of some deposit cans and bottles. On the trip back I will alter the route to include some shopping at Walmart and maybe make another stop at the local casino for entertainment. Perhaps more to the (car-free) point, I haven't driven anywhere in my car in the last month except for two visits to an oral surgeon located in Iowa City 75 miles away. Next week, my wife and I will drive to the Quad Cities to spend some time with our son, DIL and our grandson. I keep a bike there too so I can take a daily ride if time and grandparent duties permit.
Very cool.
