You state that you are a safety professional by trade and you obviously obsess over bike safety yet you haven’t gotten around to using a mirror while riding?
That’s not ironic, it’s just plain ridiculous and serves to invalidate pretty much everything you preach.
Especially considering the fact that your OP is mainly about a rider getting hit from behind.
