I'm seeing many riders protecting their handlebars with helmets. These handlebar helmets seems to take the place of a helmet on your head. Should I get a handlebar helmet? Will this make my bike safer?
Seriously, wear a helmet or don't wear a helmet, I don't care .... I do both depending on the ride. This IS NOT another "you must wear helmet" thread or "helmets are the problem" thread. But it's just stupid to have a helmet with you and not put it on your head.
If it's too hot for your helmet, buy a new one that is better vented.
If it's uncomfortable, get a new one that fits.
If is mess up your hairdo, I don't care 'cause I'm bald.
If you don't feel the need for a helmet on your head, leave it at home.
