so true. when I got into "cycling" as an adult, I went thru a long painful used cr*p phase, also trying to cheat, using clothing that wasn't cycling specific. it's a long hard expensive lesson to learn ...now I shop for cycling specific stuff but try to be frugal where possible. but I never regret buying quality
