thanks! yes exactly - the foamy grips are just there for testing, since they are so cheap'n'nasty that you can pull them on over the barcons, as easily as pulling on wool socks in the morning.

the goal is cork tape for that area, leaving the track grips ahead of the levers. but first i need to dial everything in (that stem may need to go longer?) and see if barcons+knees is an issue. oh, and at some point i want my 700x40 Supremes back in my hoard, and i'll need to find 32 or 35 to allow for some fenders.
