I think wheel roundness is potentially a problem with any bike. A local bike shop will check that and adjust as necessary when they assemble the bike -- a bike bought online obviously is assembled by you, so you will need to address any issues like that (or have a local shop straighten them up). My local bike shop charges 15 bucks to true a wheel, which I think is fair.
