so, basically ammonia with vinegar? and, solvent/wd40? just on the spots of rust, right?

the paint i think just really dusty and not too oxidized. i'll try the washing first and then wax to help protect. but, i can't imagine wax doing well on the spots where there's a solvent...ie wd40. wouldn't really stick
