Not really. BiciMan is right, the lakefront is if anything TOO busy, there are many bike lanes, lots of bike commuting, and the North Branch Trail is fantastic. Our kids used to ride a path along the river from near our house to their karate classes at a city park and then to their HS. Very little of this bike infrastructure existed when we moved to our leafy neighborhood 30 years ago.

But okay, fine, Pagan, have it your way. Tell you what, show up for one of our regular C&V lakefront rides with that attitude and I'll mug you myself.
