Everyone percives Shimano as cheap because the market is flooded with OE product and wouldn't pay full RRP for it, looking at Ultegra STI's vs Chorus Ergo's there is $5 diference, and the Chorus has carbon blades on the 11spd (as Shimano is still 11spd) 12spd Chorus is cheaper than Ultegra
