Oh we knew. When they started saying “we’ll have the youngest kids the longest (3 days per week) in the school because it’s their most formative year, the older kids 2 days etc, etc” my wife and I were like “who the **** are they kidding!?”

The economy is effed good. I just hoped the kids would, in a limited way, see their friends once in a while. It’s even more important for them, compared to adults, to socialize growing up. IMHO of course.
