My husband & I both ride in our VFFs, both on rat trap pedals and we find them pretty comfortable. The longest ride we've done wearing VFFs was 20 miles. He has the Bikilas and I have the Sprint, which have a more rigid sole than the Bikilas. I can feel the ridges of the pedals through mine, but not to an uncomfortable degree.
