But I just use tubeless tape on everything these days.
8898 tape specifically.
I reseated the tires multiple times, swapped tubes, and swapped tires. Every time, same hop in the same place. Both rims are true. It was the tape. I say was because the tape is now in the trash.
On the bright side, the good tires are going onto my fixed gear now.
